Another day, another opportunity to scope out new coffee shops! After all, this blog is brought to you by coffee. To make my last weekend of college memorable, my roommate and I planned to spend our Saturday checking out a few of the many local coffee shops in Asbury Park that we had heard so much about. Stay tuned for more posts on those to come!
My roommate and I are always trying to find healthy ways to eat our favorite foods, one of those being pancakes. We also always joke about being hungry an hour after eating, so finding recipes that allow us to add in some protein powder to stay full is always a plus!
For the most part, I try to maintain a healthy diet. But now that I’m back living in my apartment for my last semester I’m surrounded by all the delicious food options I miss so much when I’m in my hometown. One of those places is Broad Street Dough Co.
Yes, you read that title right. No, this isn’t clickbait. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t quite sure the “21 and fun” life was for me. After all, there are only so many nights out a girl can afford on a college student budget (if guys want to start buying me drinks now, that would be great).
Hello readers! I mentioned toward the beginning of summer that I would post my daily diet so that you could get an idea of what I’m eating to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Keep in mind that this is a diet that works for me and my own person goals, which are to gain weight by building muscle rather than lose weight which would require a different diet. Feel free to use this as inspiration to figure out a diet for your own goals!
If you’re anything like me, you are always down for ice cream on a hot summer day. It seems that it’s all I crave once the warm weather hits. While I try my best to eat healthy, sometimes a girl’s just gotta cave. And when I do, I prefer to use the, “go hard or go home,” mindset.
This past Saturday was probably the best day of the year (my birthday, duh). Kidding. Maybe.
