I Got the LORAC Pro Eyeshadow Palette for $12

So maybe I didn’t get the LORAC Pro ($44) palette, but this palette is such an unbelievable dupe I might as well have. Normally I’m pretty skeptical about products claiming to live up to the quality of high-end beauty favorites, but the hype that Makeup Revolution’s Iconic Pro 1 ($12) eyeshadow palette has received was too good to pass up.

Hiking the Stairway to Heaven

I’m always looking for new hikes and new sights to see. For me, a hike is such an underrated adventure. It truly allows you to appreciate the beautiful world we live in and often take for granted.

OOTD: Let’s Go to the Beach

I’ve mentioned this in a few earlier blog posts: my #1 rule when it comes to fashion is comfort. Of course this doesn’t always apply, but I try to make sure my day-to-day wardrobe is suitable for day-to-day wear. Going on vacation this past weekend, I wanted to look stylish (gotta get that ‘gram) while still keeping my #1 rule in mind.

Summer City Attire: Jumpsuit Edition

There are a few fashion staples I swear by and one of those is jumpsuits. Growing up going to New York City, I would always struggle between finding a balance of something that is chic and fashionable but still sensible and comfortable (especially with all the walking that’s bound to be done). Typically, I go for something casual paired with my Nikes. However, my most recent city excursion called for me to face my seemingly never-ending city outfit dilemma.

I Jumped Out of a Plane: My Skydiving Experience

I’ve had a bucket list started since high school (possibly earlier). Skydiving has been on that list for quite some time; I’ve been wanting to go for years. While I’ve been wanting to go for what seems like forever, part of me had settled on the fact that I might just never get around to it. But here I am, one day later, having jumped out of a plane 10,000 feet in the sky.

Wine in the Afternoon at Cream Ridge Winery

The week leading up to my college commencement ceremony, a few of my friends and I thought it would be fun to do a group wine tasting. Going to a winery is something I’ve been meaning to check off my to-do list since turning 21, but I never quite got around to it. Luckily, Cream Ridge Winery offered the perfect laid back and intimate wine tasting experience.

My $5 Nail Holy Grail

For those who don’t know, I play guitar. While I absolutely love having long nails (and have no problem growing my own out), I can’t keep them long because it gets in the way of my playing. I don’t mind keeping my nails short, but when special events roll around an elegant nail really pulls your look together

Walmart Yodel Boy Put Out an Original Song and It’s Actually Good

For those who don’t know, 11-year-old Mason Ramsey is a viral internet star from southern Illinois who is quickly edging his way into the country music industry. After a video of him singing “Lovesick Blues” by Hank Williams at a Walmart in Kentucky went viral (Walmart themselves shared the video here), Mason has been making appearances all over.

10 Healthy (and Tasty) Ways to Eat Chicken

If you’ve read my posts on my daily diet and diet breakdown, you know that a huge portion of what I eat is chicken. Breaded chicken cutlets are a staple in my house. They’re delicious, can be made into an array of different recipes and are a great source of protein. People are constantly asking me how I can be eating the same thing daily without getting tired of it, so I thought I would share a few of my favorite, fit-friendly ways I incorporate chicken into my diet!

Toning Your Shoulders and Back at Home

Back in January I posted a blog about getting abs from your living room floor. After receiving a lot of positive feedback, I thought I would put together a post on how to tone your shoulders and back! Summer is around the corner (finally) and while your first thought may be about getting a toned stomach, don’t underestimate the attractiveness that comes with having a toned upper back when wearing sleeveless attire!
