I’ve mentioned many times before how I have a personal bucket list of things I want to do whether that be within the next few months or the next few years. In my most recent blog, I stated that it’s a goal of mine to check off as much as I can this summer. One of those items that’s been on my list is The Lights Fest.
I’ve had a bucket list started since high school (possibly earlier). Skydiving has been on that list for quite some time; I’ve been wanting to go for years. While I’ve been wanting to go for what seems like forever, part of me had settled on the fact that I might just never get around to it. But here I am, one day later, having jumped out of a plane 10,000 feet in the sky.
For those who don’t know, 11-year-old Mason Ramsey is a viral internet star from southern Illinois who is quickly edging his way into the country music industry. After a video of him singing “Lovesick Blues” by Hank Williams at a Walmart in Kentucky went viral (Walmart themselves shared the video here), Mason has been making appearances all over.
Ever since her release of “Bodak Yellow” in June 2017, artist Cardi B has been making quite the name for herself. I’d be lying if I said I don’t belt the song every time it comes on my car radio or at the bar. It’s the ultimate rags to riches jam and simply put: badass.
For those who don’t know, I am someone who truly defines themselves through music. A musician myself, it is something that has gotten me through both good and bad times. I’ve been wanting to start a series reviewing new music for quite a bit, so why not start with Shawn Mendes’ latest releases?
Creating a vision board is something that has always been on my to-do list that I’ve never quite gotten around to (until now that is).
We’re barely two weeks into 2018 and I’ve been lucky enough to visit my favorite city twice. There’s just something about the New York City air (cue sarcastic joke about pollution) that gives off a vibe like no other. The atmosphere is incredible and this city is the reason why I know I’m not likely to ever move too far away. Consider this blog a dedication to the best city there is.
This year has marked so many milestones in my life. Both big and small, good and bad; I’m very grateful for all that this past year has given and taken from me. While there are endless memories and people to be thankful for, here are a few things I’m looking back on with gratitude now that 2017 has come to a close.
Happy New Year lovely readers!
It’s slightly crazy that 2018 is already here. This past year has marked so many changes in my life, both good and bad, that have all been blessings in the fact that they have built me into the best version of myself to date (keep a lookout for a blog post that I’ll be linking here this Sunday if you want to read about my personal milestones for 2017).
I’m finally back living in my favorite area as my last semester of college begins! My roommate and I decided to take advantage of the light workload (for now) that we have and visit one of our favorite nearby towns: Red Bank.
