My $5 Nail Holy Grail

For those who don’t know, I play guitar. While I absolutely love having long nails (and have no problem growing my own out), I can’t keep them long because it gets in the way of my playing. I don’t mind keeping my nails short, but when special events roll around an elegant nail really pulls your look together

How I Made My Own DIY Bangs (& You Can Too)

Let’s be honest: most of us have had an undying desire to see what we’d look like with bangs. Whether they’re blunt, choppy, long or short; there’s always that “what if” in the back of our heads. So what if you had a dramatic childhood experience? If that model on your Instagram Explore page can pull them off, they can’t be that bad; right?

If you happen to be stealing Casper’s look like I am right now, you’re likely debating booking a spontaneous trip to the nearest island ASAP. And if you have plans for spring break, the urge to hop in a tanning bed stat!

What’s in my Makeup Bag: The Essentials vs. the Extras

Makeup is my kryptonite. I’m always seeing new products while shopping, browsing social media or talking to other beauty-obsessed people. I can spend hours on YouTube looking at different tutorials and reviews.

But with a seemingly endless amount of promising products on the shelves, who has the time and money to try them all? Lucky for you, (in my totally not biased opinion) my go-to makeup products are pretty rad and will let you get the most bang out of your buck.

I Got the LORAC Pro Eyeshadow Palette for $12

So maybe I didn’t get the LORAC Pro ($44) palette, but this palette is such an unbelievable dupe I might as well have. Normally I’m pretty skeptical about products claiming to live up to the quality of high-end beauty favorites, but the hype that Makeup Revolution’s Iconic Pro 1 ($12) eyeshadow palette has received was too good to pass up.

Winter Skincare Routine

Now that we are in the heat (or should I say cold) of winter, my skincare routine has changed due to the harsh weather. The cold air and temperatures below 0° are not some of my favorite things, and your skin isn’t too fond of them either.

REVIEW: Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick

Anastasia Beverly Hills is a makeup brand that has been talked about nonstop within the last few years. Starting with their DIPBROW™ Pomade to their Contour Cream Kit and Sugar Glow Kit, their success in the beauty industry has been spreading to all areas of makeup. Coming across their liquid lipstick, I decided that it was worth the splurge to try another product by such a renowned brand.

REVIEW: Revive Energizing Coffee Facial Mask

Hello loves! A little bit ago I purchased a top at Marshalls (my holy grail of all stores) but didn’t end up liking it and had to return it for store credit. I found something else in its place (of course) (I’ll have to do a haul at some point soon) but had $2 left of my card. Rather than saving the card for the future and risk forgetting to use it (because I know that I would have) I decided to scope out their beauty section and treat myself to a facial mask. I stumbled on this coffee mask and had to try it for obvious reasons (coffee).

Pool Day Necessities

Now that summer is officially in full swing (thank you, 90 degree weather) a pool day essentials post is overdue! There is nothing I love more than going to the pool on a hot summer day when I can’t make it all the way down the shore. The best part is unlike going to the beach, I don’t have to make a day out of getting a tan and enjoying the water.
