Why You Should Hop on the Multi-Masking Bandwagon

If you haven’t heard, multi-masking is one of the latest skin care trends that you need to try ASAP.

Multi-masking involves using a variety of face masks and applying them to different areas of your face based on what that area of your skin could benefit from most. Whether your skin is dry, needs a glow boost, or is sporting a breakout–you can customize your multi-mask to exactly what you need!

My Favorite Masks to Multi-Mask

The best part about multi-masking is that you are in complete control over the masks you use and where you put them. I love this because if I am trying a new mask, I don’t have to use it all over my face with a risk of irritating all of my skin rather than just a small portion. It’s also solved the problem of me being indecisive about which mask to use that night because I no longer have to choose just one! Here are a few of my favorite (and totally affordable) masks to multi-mask with.

L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay Detox & Brighten Face Mask: This face mask is one of the first I started using religiously. When charcoal became a huge trend in the skin care scene, I was all about investing in a charcoal face mask. This masks cleanses my skin, leaves me with a radiant complexion, and has a formula that makes me feel luxurious.

L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay Purify & Mattify Face Mask: Another favorite from the Pure-Clay line, while radiating skin is great, sometimes your skin requires the opposite. This mask unclogs pores while mattifying oily skin.

Victoria’s Secret PINK Dew This Nourishing Clay Face & Body Mask: I tried this mask because it was on sale for ridiculously cheap during the semi-annual sale and I was surprised how much I liked it. I wouldn’t normally pinpoint VS PINK as a go-to for skin care products, but this clay mask has a very similar formula to the L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay masks that I love so much. The rose scent isn’t overpowering but rather a subtle added bonus. The formula contains red clay, coconut oil, shea butter, and rose extract to leave your skin free of impurities and extra soft.

Yes To Triple Masking Kit – Calm, Detox, Vit C Glow-Boost: This is the perfect one-time solution for those who are trying multi-mask for the first time! The product states that one mask definitely doesn’t fit all and was made for the multi-masking trend. There are three mud masks included: a cucumber mask to calm your skin, a charcoal one to detoxify, and a grapefruit and vitamin C mask to leave you with glowing skin.

Of course, these are just a few of the many face masks I’ve used and loved for the multi-masking trend. Make sure you’re customizing your multi-mask to your skin’s needs! If you need any recommendations or have some face masks you’ve tried and loved that would be perfect for this trend, comment below!
