The Scoop: Hoffman’s Ice Cream

With warm weather finally making an appearance, it’s only right that I let you in on the latest scoop: Hoffman’s Ice Cream. There’s nothing more refreshing or delicious than homemade ice cream on a hot day.

While I’m from north Jersey, I like to consider myself a Long Branch native after spending the last few years living down there during college. I absolutely love everything about the area (and those nearby). One of the things that I love most, and that you’ll find me blogging quite a bit about, is the amount of tasty food places within minutes of each other. I swear no matter what you’re craving, there is a worthy place to grab it within a 10 minute drive.

Hoffman’s Ice Cream is one of those places that I had to visit once the warm weather kicked in. Their ice cream is to-die-for and the amount of mouthwatering flavors they have makes it near impossible to commit to just one (another reason why I have to keep going back there: to try them all, of course).

Founded in 1955, they were one of the first Carvel Ice Cream stores and eventually switched into their own brand in 1976. You can read more about them here. They have four locations: Point Pleasant Beach, Spring Lake Heights, Little Silver and Long Branch. You’ll find me visiting both the Little Silver and Spring Lake stores.

Some noteworthy flavors include Cookie Monster (vanilla ice cream with cookie dough pieces and Oreos in every bright blue scoop), Jersey Monkey (banana ice cream with peanut butter swirl and chocolate chips) and Sea Salt Caramel Latte (coffee caramel ice cream with chocolate coated caramel truffles).

You can also enjoy a delicious ice cream cake for your next celebration or rent their ice cream truck to add something sweet to any event!

Be sure to grab a scoop (or three) for yourself!

xoxo Nic
