So maybe I didn’t get the LORAC Pro ($44) palette, but this palette is such an unbelievable dupe I might as well have. Normally I’m pretty skeptical about products claiming to live up to the quality of high-end beauty favorites, but the hype that Makeup Revolution’s Iconic Pro 1 ($12) eyeshadow palette has received was too good to pass up.
The resemblance between the two palettes is uncanny. Both have sleek black packaging and 16 shades that are nearly identical. As for the quality of the eyeshadows themselves? While there is no denying that LORAC has an incredible formula when it comes to their eyeshadow palettes, their $12 rival is causing me to question why anyone would shell out an extra $32 (sorry LORAC).
Word is getting out that Makeup Revolution also has a few other dupe lines including their Death by Chocolate palette (and the line that goes with it) mimicking Too Faced’s Chocolate Bar palette and line. They also have their Redemption line ($7 per palette!!) that mirrors the all too famous Urban Decay Naked palettes.
If you’re looking for a new eyeshadow palette to switch up your beauty look or a new makeup brand to scope out, Makeup Revolution is definitely worth looking into.
