If you didn’t read my last blog post on Asbury Park Roastery, you may want to click over there now! I mentioned in the blog that the coffee company advertises that they sell by the cup and by the bag. The Twisted Tree Café in Asbury has taken advantage of that and serves their organic coffee and espresso!
Before you decide that this café isn’t worth the trip because they sell another company’s coffee – think again. There are a few things that make the Twisted Tree Café the ideal coffee-joint and I’ll break it down below:
What I Got: I ordered their Bomb (did someone say espresso?) coffee with 1% milk. If you’re needing that extra jolt to get through a long night this is the coffee for you!
What I Thought: Of course it was expected that I would love this cup of coffee being that I visited (and thoroughly enjoyed) Asbury Park Roastery before. This coffee shop also has the perfect vibe with minimalistic decor, neutral tones, and subtle touches of greenery. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere of this café and can see myself spending hours in there catching up with friends or catching up on a good book.
Worth the Mention: This is definitely a stop that’s worth making into a brunch or lunch. While I only went for a cup of coffee, I was immediately surrounded by the mouthwatering aromas of the food being made! The café advertises their healthy and vegan options such as their sweet potato wrap and homemade carrot cake. While I’m not vegan, I’ve made a mental note to stop back as soon as I can to try one of their many tempting options.
If you’re looking to combine some great (and healthy) food with a great cup of coffee, Twisted Tree Café may be the place for you.
