If you haven’t heard, a brand called Romwe has been surfacing along with a few other online brands that are offering trendy clothes for incredible prices. I was skeptical of the quality and the legitimacy of trying one of these sites, but I decided to take the plunge and expand my bathing suit wardrobe since I haven’t been able to allow myself to spend $20+ on a top or bottom alone.
If you go to their website, you’ll quickly see why they’re worth looking into. I was able to get 5 bikinis for around $50 which is absolutely insane especially with how expensive bathing suits have become. I decided it wouldn’t be too detrimental of a loss if it didn’t work out, so I went along with the purchase.
I thought the material would be super cheap, but the material is similar to other bathing suits I have from places like Target. The only thing I’m not crazy about is that the padding in the bikini tops is pretty thin, but I got around this cut cutting a small hole in the fabric and replacing the pads with ones from another bathing suit I had with pads that were removable.
I think the cut is true to what is presents online. The bottoms were a tad more cheeky than I’m used to, but I got a small when I usually get a medium in bikini bottoms and a small in bikini tops. I would say that the only downside to buying bathing suits in a set rather than the bottoms and tops separately would be this. Still, the bottoms weren’t so cheeky that I wouldn’t want to wear them in public. Cheeky bottoms are trendy right now and I think that’s why the site has leaned toward this design as a lot of people would rather have less tan lines.
Would I buy from here again? Yes. I’m very curious to try out their clothing rather than just their bathing suit line so I can see how well the quality of that is! I’m all about finding deals and this site really is a steal especially in the bathing suit department where you can get a full set for around $10. If you’ve tried out any of their products and have a review of your own, feel free to leave a comment!
Happy shopping and hopefully you have the same experience with Romwe as I did if you decide to try them out!
